Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you use a form on our site you may give us your name, email address, phone number, a message, the address of a home you own or want valued, what you are looking for (price range, timeframe, whether you are buying or selling), searches you save, homes you favorite, and anything you type in a live chat with one of our agents. At an open house you may sign in with your name and phone number. If you join our rocket launch list, we keep your email address for that list. If you give us a testimonial, we keep the words and the name you asked us to show.

Information collected automatically. Our website uses our own first-party measurement, not a third-party analytics or advertising service. It records the pages you view, searches you run and listings you look at, your device type (phone, tablet, desktop), the site that referred you, campaign tags in the link you arrived on, and your approximate location (country and city) estimated from your network address by our hosting provider. It stores a random visitor identifier in your browser so we can tell repeat visits apart. It does not record your IP address with your activity; your IP address is used only to prevent abuse and to block our own staff’s traffic from the counts.

Information we do not collect. We do not collect payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, or government ID numbers through this site. We do not use facial recognition, cross-site tracking, or data brokers.

• To answer you and connect you with a 7 Waves agent about the home or search you asked about.
• To send the things you asked for: a home value estimate, a calculator breakdown, new listing alerts for a saved search, a market report, an open house recap.
• To show you relevant listings and remember your saved searches and favorites.
• To run our brokerage: assigning leads to agents, following up, keeping records that Florida real estate law requires us to keep.
• To understand how the site is used and make it better.
• To protect the site and comply with the law.

When you submit a form on our site, you are asking us to be in touch. By doing so you agree that 7 Waves and its licensed agents may contact you by email, phone, and text message at the contact details you provided, including with automated technology, about your home search, your home’s value, and related real estate services. Your consent is not a condition of buying or selling a home with us.

You can stop marketing at any time. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, every marketing text can be stopped by replying STOP, and you can always email us at the address below. Stopping marketing does not stop us from replying to a question you send us or from communications about a transaction you are in.

We honor do-not-call requests, national and Florida do-not-call registrations, and Florida’s limits on the timing and frequency of telephone solicitations.

Program description. 7 Waves Real Estate sends text messages to people who have opted in through our website forms or by texting us, about the home search or home sale they asked about, listing alerts, open houses, and appointment reminders, and to our own agents about brokerage business (see “Agents and the Agent Portal” below).

• Message frequency varies with your activity and what you asked for; a typical customer receives a few messages a month.
• Message and data rates may apply. Check with your carrier.
• Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts from us. You will get one final message confirming you have opted out.
• Reply HELP for help, or email info@7wavesrealestate.com or call (321) 775-5515.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for the vendors that deliver messages on our behalf and only for that purpose.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we do not share it with other brokerages, lead-generation companies, or advertisers.

We share it only with:

• Our agents. Licensed agents and staff of 7 Waves see the leads assigned to them so they can help you. They are bound by this policy and by Florida real estate law.
• Service providers that work for us. Companies that host our website and database, deliver our email and text messages, provide address autocomplete on our search bars, and supply property records. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
• Parties to your transaction, when you ask. Once you are working with us on a purchase or sale, we share what is needed with the other side, title and escrow companies, lenders, and inspectors, as any real estate transaction requires.
• The law. We will disclose information when a law, court order, or government request requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our agents, or the public.
• A successor. If 7 Waves is ever sold or merged, your information would go with the business, under this policy or one at least as protective.

Listing data on this site comes from the Space Coast Association of REALTORS® IDX program. Nothing about you is sent back to the MLS.

We use first-party cookies and browser storage only. They keep you signed in to the Agent Portal, remember that you have already told us who you are so we do not ask again, hold your recent searches and the homes you have viewed, and carry the random visitor identifier used for our own measurement. We do not set third-party advertising or social-media tracking cookies.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features, such as saved searches and staying signed in, will not work without them.

We keep your information for as long as you have a relationship with us, and afterward for as long as Florida real estate law and our record-keeping obligations require. When an agent archives a lead in our system, the record is permanently deleted 30 days later. Website measurement data is kept in aggregate form and is not tied to your name.

You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see “Your choices”). We will keep only what the law requires us to keep, such as transaction records.

• Stop marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any email, or stop alerts for one saved search with the link in that alert.
• Stop texts by replying STOP.
• Ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@7wavesrealestate.com. We will confirm your identity and respond within 45 days.
• Tell your agent or email us to change how, or whether, we contact you.

We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising these rights. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights; we honor requests from everyone in the same way regardless of where they live. We do not sell personal information and do not engage in targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on those counts.

Licensed agents and staff of 7 Waves use our Agent Portal to work leads, manage open houses, prepare net sheets, and run their business with the brokerage. This section is for them.

Notifications. As part of joining 7 Waves and being set up in the Agent Portal, each agent agrees to receive one-way business notifications from the brokerage: in the portal, by email to the address on their profile, and by text message to the mobile number on their profile. These notifications cover things such as a new lead assigned to them, a follow-up that has come due, an upcoming or completed open house, a request from a client, and updates to the portal itself. They are about brokerage business, not marketing, and are how the brokerage delivers time-sensitive information such as a new lead.

Agents may choose which notifications they receive by text in their portal profile, may reply STOP to any text to stop texts from that number, and may ask the broker to stop notifications entirely. Because leads and client requests are delivered this way, turning them off may delay information an agent needs, and the broker may deliver it by another channel.

Roster information. An agent’s name, photo, title, phone number, email address, license number, bio, and specialties are published on our website’s team pages and on materials the agent creates in the portal, such as listing posts, pitch pages, and net sheets. Agents can edit most of this from their profile.

Client information in the portal is protected by access controls: each agent sees the leads and records assigned to them, and brokerage administrators see the office. Agents must keep client information confidential and use it only for brokerage business, as Florida law and their agreement with the brokerage require.

Our site is served over encrypted connections. Our database enforces row-level access rules so that each agent can only reach the records assigned to them, and administrative access is limited to the brokerage’s administrators. Service credentials are kept out of the browser. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and we will tell you if a breach affects you as the law requires.

Our site and services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you by email or with a notice on the site before it takes effect.
